Our two rooms
We still come to you. But we also have two rooms of our own in Plymouth, and for a lot of people that is the easier option: nothing to clear, nothing to set up, nothing to clean afterwards.
- The Potion Room, up to 10 children
- The Legends Lair, up to 25
- Plymouth
Room one
The Potion Room
A private room for up to ten children, or eight adults. This is the room the whole thing grew out of, and it is the one most people picture when they think of a wizard party.
The forbidden vibe. Heavy castle curtains, and lush plants trailing down over the shelves so the room reads as a hidden chamber somebody stopped tending to a long time ago.
Lit from within. The cabinets glow, so the rows of potion bottles, the shimmering vials and the jars of ingredients are the brightest thing in a dark room. Children go straight to them.
The two centrepieces. A floor-length mirror that throws the light back across the room, and a dinosaur skull, which is always the first thing anyone asks about.

Room two
The Legends Lair
The big room. Up to twenty-five, children or grown-ups, which is where it earns its place: the Potion Room stops at ten.
Tables we built. Long wooden tables, made rather than bought, and built to be used. Big feasts, board games that take four hours, anything that needs everybody round one surface.
Surrounded by the lore. The walls and corners carry the collection: weapons, shields, maps and relics. It is closer to a tavern or a guild hall than a function room, which is the point.
Room to move. The reason to pick this one is space. Bigger groups can spread out, play and have a look round without queuing for a seat.

Questions about the rooms
Can parents stay?
Yes, and most do. There is somewhere to sit with a coffee while the party runs, so you are not standing in a corner holding coats for ninety minutes.
Do you still come to us instead?
Yes. That is still most of what we do, and it has not changed. Everything on the site can come to your hall or your house across Devon and Cornwall. The rooms are an alternative, not a replacement.
What if we are more than ten?
Then it is the Legends Lair, which takes twenty-five. If you are somewhere in between, ring and say how many and we will tell you honestly which room works better.
Where exactly are you?
In Plymouth. Ring or text Sharon on 07835 501419 and she will give you the address and directions when she holds your date.
Got a date in mind?
Tell us the date, the ages and roughly how many, and we will come back to you the same day with what we can do.
